  1. Yes, latest drivers from Intel. Can you be more specific here? I've tried tweaking almost all the adapter configuration settings, nothing works. I've tried reinstalling the driver, installing the latest Bluetooth driver (intel bluetooth 4.0 + HS), disabling both the wireless card and the bluetooth adapter in Device Manager, going in to BIOS and disabling wireless, and looking at other settings in the BIOS. The computer still wakes up immediately after going to sleep. The only thing that "fixes" the problem is if i take out the AC 7260 card and put in the old Centrino 2230 card. It's gotta be a hardware thing I think. I tried the powercfg lastwake command in command prompt, it does not tell me what was the source of the wake. Just says Wake Source Count-0
  2. on page 9 I posted about having this exact same problem. The problem is definitely with the card. Tried looking at BIOS settings, power management, unchecking "allow this device to wake the computer" and the problem persists; the computer immediately wakes back up when I try to put it to sleep. with the stock BIOS and the stock Centrino 2230 card, it went to sleep fine. Flashed the modded BIOS but kept the Centrino 2230 inside and it went to sleep fine. Modded BIOS plus AC 7260, this problem occurs.
  3. Yeah I have v16.1.5 but also the PROSet application. Tried the following things: I downloaded and installed the v.3.1.1307 bluetooth driver, disabling "Intel Wireless Bluetooth 4.0 + HS Adapter", uninstalling PROSet. None of these worked so far. Looking for more things to try.
  4. what's your bios version? I don't think the mod is the problem because I had the mod installed with the old card and it slept fine. I'm running windows 8
  5. Flashed modded bios (1.07), swapped out the Intel Centrino 2230 for the Intel AC 7260 and wifi and bluetooth work great. However, ever since switching the card my computer can no longer enter sleep mode. It just wakes up immediately after I tell it to go to sleep. I've tried looking at all the different power options, disabling the network card to be able to wake up the computer but I still have the same problem. Any advice? cliffsnotes: stock BIOS, Centrino 2230 = sleep mode ok Modded BIOS, Centrino 2230 = sleep mode ok Modded BIOS, AC 7260 = computer wakes immediately after trying to enter sleep mode. Laptop is a recently bought y410p. BIOS version 1.07. Any help is appreciated.
