Even if you could change it out, I don't know that the laptop would be able to run a better card. With laptop, wattage and heat are big issues and most are made specifically for the parts that they come with.

That is not a high temp. Some video cards can get up around 90C during heavy load.

Great work man. Changed my 2230 out with a new atheros card. Works like a charm.

You would be good with anything over 600W. If you plan on going sli later, maybe get a 1000W just to be safe.

I have never personally used thunderbolt. What makes it such a better connector?
