  1. I might be confusing technologies, but doesn't optimus work in a simiar way to the lucidlogix virtu setup of z68 era where the video data from the secondary card (in this case the nvidia card) gets sent through the PCI-E bus?
  2. I was getting both problems. My fix was just to merge the original and the 'fix' fparts.txt together and it worked. I've attached my file 'Error 104' Fix - v01 (Modified AB).zip
  3. Hi guys, I'm having an odd experience with my 410p where my USB 3 port will drop and reconnect my USB 2 devices (I believe the USB 3 devices stay connected, but they all have their own power supply so it's hard to tell). Using the USB 2 ports on the right has no problems It only happens for a fraction of a second, but that's enough to freak out my USB sound card, keyboard and mouse. This occurs through two separate hubs (one usb2, one hybrid 2/3), and directly connecting the devices. I am running windows 7 x64 with the latest usb drivers from intel (as of last week), although this problem also manifested in windows 8 and 8.1 I realise what I have said is a little vague, and I'll try and narrow it down a bit further, but has anyone else experienced anything like this, or know of any solution? Cheers
  4. Given the 47w restriction, does anyone have any recommendations?
  5. I had a similar problem. My solution was just to download the latest intel drivers and nvidia drivers from their respective websites. That seemed to do the job
  6. But doesn't it all get fed through the intel card anyway? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that what Kwaz said is still possible (although I'll need to do more research first).
  7. I may have missed something, but why is this a problem given that OSX runs happily on the latest MBA?
