  1. Oh my bad! It was just because the drivers were outdated sorry about that. It's fixed now. But I have another question too: is there any way to control fan noise directly in this version of the BIOS?
  2. Prema I just replaced my w230st BIOS with your new modded one, but I think I have an issue. It doesn't detect my nvidia 765m for some reason, what do you think I should do to get it to recognize my gpu? Thanks!
  3. Just letting you know, even if you only upgrade once every 4 years, I think the 765m, which you can find on the clevo w230st or razer blade 14, will be enough. Plus, those laptops will be more portable so you can actually have a laptop that you can move around rather than an overly powerful brick.
  4. I think that was the issue with the Lenovo y510p SLI, that it loses its capability to do Optimus. Everyone who has the y510p makes the same sacrifice. Maybe some modded bios online could solve your problems?
  5. BI was great, but it could've had cooler boss battles. Recently made games like ME3 and BI and whatnot lack that last epic final boss battle that I always thought was really cool X.X
  6. In the end you should just choose which OS you're more comfortable with. If you're going to be using UNIX a lot (like as a coder), you might want to consider the pro. If you're going to be gaming a lot, you might want to consider a windows laptop. In general though, windows will have more processing power bang for the buck. The windows equivalent of the pro would be one of the VAIOs or the Zenbooks.
  7. Assuming you don't need the 1 TB HDD storage, won't a single SSD be cheaper than an equivalent mSATA one? Am I mistaken in thinking you only ever need mSATA when you need something else in your primary hard drive compartment.
  8. There's also the Gigabyte laptops that are going to be released soon (Gigabye P34G and P35K).
