Agreed with that. Some users in other forum said that the Ultrabay fan instead sucked the cool air that is needed by the main fan. It doesn't cool anything, as the exhaust air are not even hot....

SC: Conviction is kind of weird if you used an AMD (ATi) cards. I remembered back then when I still used HD3850 it will constantly crash, even though it's playable. A lot of people are complaining about it. Not just series HD3xxx, but also 4, 5 and 6. So, what's your graphic card?

I have a Corsair Neutron GTX 128gb in my main SATA slot, with 1 TB inside the HDD caddy. Using Windows 7 64 bit. Boot time is around 10 - 11 seconds until everything loads.

I'll pick SATA. Simply because I'll probably use the drive in other laptop / PC. My Lenovo uses M.2 for it's alternative SSD slot, and I doubt it will be available widely / easily in other platforms.....

I used Y410p and tried to bear Windows 8 just for a day. I simply can't. After backing up the whole partition (hey, I paid for that useless Win 8 anyway....), I moved to Windows 7. I doubt 8.1 will be of any difference -.-

AFAIK, Optimus cannot be disabled. But I think this Lenovo uses iGPU, which might be able to be modified from BIOS.
