  1. This is probably a dumb question, but i figured better safe than sorry with a thousand dollar laptop. Mine shipped with bios v 2.0. I used lenovo's (leaked) update to go to 2.02. I am ready to flash the modded BIOS but the only one i can see to download is 2.04. It looks okay from the instructions but i just wanted to confirm that upgrading from 2.02 stock to 2.04 modded would be safe. Thanks!
  2. X_x pretend I said pcie, anyhow, I looked at mine and it does seem to have nonstandard versions of both sata and pcie in there Sent from my RM-820_nam_att_100 using Tapatalk
  3. Perhaps it would be possible to use the ultrabay to use an external gpu, and then only use the external gpu. If their connector is only a variation on SATA then perhaps it would be possible.
  4. Im gonna do some more poking around with the .dll i found, but it looks like there is something im missing as i cant get it to work. If anybody on here more experienced than i wants to give it a shot i can upload the files.
  5. 98!? That sounds a bit dangerous, mine (650m) only hit 70 when overclocked to 1000mhz.
  6. Not sure if anyone has found this, but i found some of lenovos api's for fan speed and things like keyboards under Program Files (x86) > Lenovo > Power Mangement > Lenovo.EnergyMangement.dll, LenovoEMExpandedAPI.dll, LenovoSDKEmSubSystem.dll I saw some people wondering about turning up fan speed and such, and there is a function called SetHighSpeedOfFan that sounds like a solution. There are also options for backlight, brightness, and a bunch of others. I opened it with VS Express, but i assume other programs would also work. Hopefully this helps some of you! Screenshot of some options:
