Got the 660m card and the JH heat sink. Can not get the back plate. Tried dell support, but they say they do not have. Anyone know where I can get the backplate or screws to use the exsisting backplate that is on my 660M I bought?

ASUS G73J G73JH OEM HD 5870M Video Card GPU Heatsink 13GNY81AM050-1 13N0-H3A0C01 is the above heatsink good? Jh is for a 5870m. Again thanks for the guide. Still waiting for 660m card to be delivered.

Is the heatsink or this mod is the g73jh for the 5870m? If so, is the fan on the g73jw the same for jh? Or do I have to buy the assembly with the fan attached?

Sorry for your troubles. I bought the 660 card from the mxm sites svl7 listed. Not arrived yet, but I m buying up all things needed to do this upgrade. I almost bought that dell card on eBay too. Hope you can get it to work.

I managed to contact Kris Verbeeck from MXM Upgrade. Bought the 660 card for 150 euro. Waiting for it to arrive. Buying up everything I need to do this swap out. Let me know if you we're able to upgrade your laptop. --- I have the G73jw. Going to do the 660m upgrade. Why did you upgrade your RAM? I thought the motherboard could not see more than 8Gb. Does it make difference? If so, I will upgrade RAM also.
