  1. hi aOryx, I moded my JX laptop to JH, and everything is working great, Code9523 help me back then to flash the JH BIOS to my JX, but everything worked before flash, I only needed to mod the driver, you have your 870m card installed?, can boot to windows??, It is reported inside device manager? if so can you share some more info??. This is a work in progress so if you have the machine to boot with the card installed there is a lot of hope for you. Good luck, and please share your experience.
  2. Hi what are the defaul values with this vbios! Defaul core clock with/without boost? thank you!!!
  3. If you refer to editing the fan table so the fan works harder automatically? If so I think is real hard since the fan table is on the EC firmware no inside main bios. If you are using Windows just use fan control app. Set your model to zen book and it shoul work. Create your own settings inside the app and that should do the trick. good luck!!!

    ASUS G750JS + 765M

Hi roca44, I like to share with you my expirience with this g750 series and changing or upgrading vga card. I upgrade my 770m to 780m and from that expirience this is what I learn. the initial state you reported was the right one and only a mod to the inf file was needed :S :S now you tried to flash you JS board which use Optimus with JW bios which doesn't use Optimus, so you have just disable the iGPU and the internal screen is only connected to it. This is why your machine seems to work but nothing shows on the internal monitor (have you tried using an external one? Try with all the ports). you need to revert back to the JS bios. Try boot with a custom made bat to flash your back up file using afudos. I hope it helps, please let us know
  5. Hi, I was thinking in upgrade the GPU on my G750JX with a 780M from a G750JH, and you have exactly that scenario (JX motherboard and 780M GPU) why you say your system does´t recognize your GPU? you can boot the system? but windows does´t see your card? or what exactly happens? your old JH motherboard also was marked as g750jw mainboard rev 2.1?? Can you please, take some pictures of the old G750JH and the new one?? I think you can boot the system as you said it has the JX BIOS on it. If you can boot into windows is just maybe a driver issue I think, you need to uninstall the drivers and use a driver cleaner tool, and reinstall the drivers again. For other side maybe you can change the BIOS to the JH one, but you need to be warned that is posible somethings goes wrong. There are two methods you may wanna try. 1.- format an USB in fat 32 the size does´t matter, download the JH BIOS to the file but rename it to G750JX.BIN and powering the laptop while holding Ctrl+Home should do the rest. 2.- use AFU flash tool, but for use this one you need to boot the system for better result, please answer if you system boot so I can give you further instructions. a third one is buy a JH bios chip and do the desoldering resoldering process by your self or by a third. ( for this to work you need to be sure both motherboards are physically exactly the same) Good luck and I will back soon this info interested me a lot
