  1. They don't make it easy to change lol... Got my 1tb in there though working after 3 hours... First time lol
  2. It's a great card At first i thought it was slow but then realized my processor stopped turboclocking or running at full speed Stayed at 900 mhz... Now with throttlestop fixing that I can play everything maxed pretty much at 900p... Exception is BF3 with my processor bottleneck... That is ultra text and everything else high and ssao
  3. Well I got the 670mx and its plug n play... Just google how to modify the inf so the driver installer recognizes your card and your good to go... I have a dell 670mx
  4. Well running into problems now... Not sure why but i'm getting mad lag spikes. Be running at 60FPS in black ops 2 and then down to 40 fps and it goes back and forth constantly... My gpu is running nice and cool always under 70 celcius... Could it be my i7-740QM? I notice it runs hot reaching up to the 70's.... Is the cpu throttling at those temps? Edit: Nvm fixed it with throttle stop...
  5. So with my new all powered up with an SSD and a new GPU i was wondering what to do for more space... Currently have a 256gb ssd but using 40 just for music lol >.<... Anyone know if this is the right caddy to use? NEW 2nd HDD SSD Hard Disk Drive Caddy Sata 9 5mm Dell Alienware M15X M14X M17X | eBay Plan on putting a 1tb or 750gb in there...
  6. Just put in my 670mx Laptop runs way better now then when i Had the 6990m. Gonna see how much i can sell that bricked 6990m on ebay now...
  7. Great to hear does it run on stock good? My 6990m was way downclocked and under volt.... So it's probably cooler and more power efficient?
  8. Just ordered a 670mx from an alienware m17x. Bought thermal pads. Hopefully thats all I need? I bricked my 6990m so hopefully this works lol
  9. I just recently purchased a m15x with 6990m for 700$ but I bricked the gpu I think ... It kept crashing randomly at idle within 5 minutes. This only happend when ati drivers are installed. So I went into vbios and changed it to .95v and 680/900 clocks which still caused the shutdowns. I then tried lowering 2d voltage to .8 an that's when it crashed what to do now? It worked with a severe downclock... To like 500/900 but that's not how I should be running this kind of card! Any help appreciated
