hi svl7, do you have any plans to create a 780 ti classified bios. I should be getting mine tommorrow and I can send you the bios. it looks like a lot of people are ordering this card so I think it would be a popular bios. Thanks for your help.

Ya that's happened with my titans using svl7 bios and my classified. Borderlands uses such low gpu usage that it down clocks a lot especially in sli. Pretty much all other games like far cry 3, crysis it doesn't happen. Borderlands is a very light game on the gpu, I always thought it was normal even when using the disabled boost bios's. - - - Updated - - - Jacob confirmed in the evga forums the 780 classified is limited to 1.5v even with the evbot. So 1.35v with software and 1.5v with the evbot. He said they will update the evbot firmware so it doesn't show higher than 1.5v. I still think that is pretty great. Nobody was even sure if any card this series from NVIDIA would allow higher than 1.2v after they removed evbot support last year and started really limiting things voltage wise. I think 1.5v is pretty high and a step in the right direction.

Since you waited this long since the 780 release you might as well get the fastest 780 available since all models are released except for the lightning which should be out soon.

it says I have 8 posts but it still wont let me download the classified bios. Also how come there isn't the package anymore it just says classified v3. Is that the same as the first ones in the package?

It looks like the 4gb 770 classified is like about $550. I know an extra $150 is a lot but you could get the 780 classified for that much more. There is a huge difference between these 2 cards. GK110 is so much more powerful. Some of the valley scores I have gotten with mine beat some bad oc'ing 680's in sli. Also the memory seems to clock just as high and you have a 384 bit bus. Right now mine is stable at 7450mhz. Even if you could afford only one 780 classified right now and get the second one later on. Or if you want to save even more go for reference evga 780's and the price difference only becomes $100.

Get 2 classified's, 2 lightnings, or 2 evga 780 sc acx. I am running 2 classified's in sli and using air coolers until the waterblocks release. My rig is setup for water so the airflow isn't the greatest and I am not having a problem. My temps are at about 75c while gaming but only because I am using 1.35v. You will be fine with non-reference cards and your setup.

I bought 2 titan's and wished I had gotten 780's. I sold my titans and now have 780 classified's and they are faster than my titans. Maybe some people need the extra vram but I am only single monitor.

I have to say the titans were amazingly smooth in sli. I never noticed any stuttering. I just moved to classified sli and I have been testing one card first and it feels exactly the same as the titans did in sli. Maybe I am not sensitive to it but going to one card really made me realize how smooth it was with the titans.

ya I totally agree the bios is amazing. My titans were throttling hard and as soon as I installed this bios all throttling stopped and my cards ran in sli 1202mhz far cry 3 stable. This bios completely changed my cards. Plus I love to just set my clocks and not worry that they are going to jump all over the place.

I really want to test it so I can add a link to the bios in my owner's club. Would that be ok if I did that? There were a lot of cards released recently so the club is starting to get big and they all need a bios. I just can't comment on it until I test it. Thank you so much for all your hard work. You are amazing. My titans would have been junk without your bios.

Hi svl7, I have been using your vbios on my classified and it has been working great. Got my highest scores in Valley with it and it's the only one that doesn't throttle for me. Is there a reason why I shouldn't be using it? Do you think a version based off the classified originals could act differently. Because as of right now I think your bios, the only one I have access to right now is working amazing. Any thoughts? If you could possibly mod one for the classified I will post links to this forum in the classified owner's club I started at *** to try to get all the owner's over here and help you out.
