Oh your totally right im a z580 XD my mistake

So my bios is 5fcn30ww and i've tried using the bios update from the lenovo website and using and its trying to use insydeflash and when i try to update it i get a IHISI: get support mode error in SMI! SMI Return code: 0xef and ive also tried using the y580 - y480' unlocked bios v2.07 same problem so what can i do to get the bios update

Can someone help me find directions to remove the keyboard Lenovo sent me a new one because mine had a broken piece but when i sent it to them to get it fixed they only fixed my lcd and not my keyboard now i need to replace it any help would be much appreciated!

How do you find out what version your bios is?

Does anyone know why when i try to upgrade the bios on my laptop, the one directly from the lenovo website when i try to click on it and install it it says I cant get any bios to update at all im running windows 7 64 bit do i need to upgrade to windows 8? IHISI: get support mode fail in SMI!
