I am a little surprised at being called names. Is this a method to chase people off this site? I am using this site for information mostly, to help when I can, to encourage when possible, and enjoy reading what people can do with their machines. Please let me know that is your reason. Anytime someone starts changing components in any device, they have to assume the responsibility for the changes.

It sounds like a battery failure.

A quick google search shows that error 43 can be lots of issues, from software to drivers to bios to hardware. Will need more info to help

I cant believe that white listing laptops is for ease of customer service. After all, desktops dont have these restrictions (that I am aware of) To me, its like buying a car and being told what brand of gasoline I have to use.

Unfortunately, I can't give you info on the reach, but I would like to ask if you are using the stock BIOS or had to use a whitelist mod to install the N6235 card.

When I first started using Win 8, the touchpad drove me nuts, changing from desktop to Metro to Charms. I also disliked the lack of a Start Button. Installing a start button was a huge help. It also helped some of the touch pad issues. Other than those issues, I like WIn 8 better. Snappier use and I much prefer the resource monitor over Win 7. It will be prefect once I get an SSD installed

When installing the msata SSD are you cloning the original Win 8 or doing a fresh install? If a fresh install, are you suing OEM or Retail Win 8? I ask because I wonder about the BIOS enabled Authorization Code.
