I was using 2400mhz ram with my 3770K and had no problems. That was a great chip, it ran 4.6ghz at 1.9V. Bumping to 4.7 made me go up to 1.3V though..... sigh

lawl at the old thread. Just for information purposes if anyone else was considering the topic, I'd put the gtx 660 or 660TI at the top of my list. A used 7950 would also be a great choice. I had a 7870 and didn't care for it.

Fantastic machine, I wanted something like that at first but the price just killed me. So far I'm ok with my 780m MSI GT60 but its hard to replace the Titan SLI desktop I had.

Gotta throw in my beg for the new MSI GT series unlocked bios here. I have the new gt60 and wishhh I could get my hands on a flash.

Glossy looks great if the lights are dim, but with any light or window you can see reflections. When it's bright inside those things are like mirrors. Matte all the way from now on for me.
