It would be interesting to see what kind of temps you would get in the m18x, compared to other SLI laptops.

I have had the OCZ vertex 4 128GB in the past, and now have the crucial M4 256GB. Both of them are good SSDs in my opinion, with the M4 looking to bench better in my case. I noticed with some steam games, such as farcry 3, that I needed to have it installed on my SSD to work properly. Not that big of a deal, but can be annoying on a smaller sized SSD.

The fans in my old NP8170 weren't bad at all, as well as my new NP9390. I did notice them at the start, but I got used to the sound. It also helps having music playing to drown out the noise of the fans as well.

Will be testing on my np9390 later this week, after I get everything all set up first.
