[M17x R3] - BIOS A12 'unlocked' & 'SATA tweak'

This unlocked A12 BIOS helped me install my 880M GPU upgrade in my R3 YAY!!! Just wanted to ask would it allow me to drop a 2920XM into it and work without issues?
