  1. Hi pharma, thanks for clearing that up.
  2. Hi svl7 I've tried your modded Nvidia bios on both my Gigabyte and MSI GTX 780. I got a good overclock on my MSI but the Gigabyte with a low ASIC reading is stuck at 1180mhz core, which is okay as I'll try to take it under LN2 in the near future. The result I got with the MSI were Not related to the modded bios, but somehow related to the 780 and it's drivers, I've noticed that I'll get really poor performance after switching off my pc and switching it on the following day. After restarting the pc out of windows the performance will increase but still not be at the level it should be and it would take another one or two restarts for the performance to be where it should be. That is basically what happens with both my GTX 780's running single or SLI. I've basically tried from modded 314.22 to 320.11 through to the current 326.49 beta driver with the same problem. Now on another note, would it be possible for me to flash my Gigabyte 780 with the EVGA modded bios set for LN2? Anyways, thanks a mil for the great bios.
  3. Well well. . Im new around here which is obvious lookibg at my post count. Ive only seen now that there is an introductory page. Well Im Stephan from South Africa and it is goid to meet you all and to enjoy a good bios mod by sl7 for my 780..... Cheers Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  4. So I got my second 780 and from the get go I went to 1215mhz on the core and 3206mhz on the memory. I've noticed that I'm getting varying results with this one NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-4770K,Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. G1.Sniper 5 being the highest. I do feel that it may be throttling when I compare the results to similar systems looking at the fps in the gaming runs. But when looking at the highest the power limit went it was only around 80% and temps with the fan set to 70% was about 67c. This 780 is a better air clocker than my other one, but with a 79.3% ASIC reading compared to 60.8% I suppose it should be obvious. One thing I did pick up is that when running the Metro Last Light bench with 320.18. 320.49 or 325.xx driver it drops to 5fps when the train smashes through (physx evident) and will continue at that rate until the end of the bench, but using 314.22 with the modded inf worked a lot better, even though its performance in other benchmarks might not be all that great.
  5. I'll be getting a second GTX 780 but this time the vanilla with a ASIC reading of 79.3%. I would like to save the stock bios it comes with but everytime I tried saving my current 780's stock bios it would give an error code using Nvflash. I tried many strings, taking protection off etc, but still no save. Could someone please explain to me the best way to save the bios for the GTX780.
  6. Sorry, I may be asking a somewhat silly question, but what driver works best for the GTX 780. I'm having a lot of difficulties with sometimes good sometimes poor performance with the 320.18 and 320.49 drivers.
  7. Having flashed the bios for my Gigabtyte GTX 780 OC I noticed some strange things happening while benching. Not sure how great the card is, but I'm somewhat limited to 1180mhz on the core with the modded bios and about 1150 with the stock bios. I sort of made the mistake to not safe the bios that was on the card, able to take the power limit to 150% as for some reason Nvflash could not save it or any other application I used to try saving it. Any idea how I'll be able to save a bios from the 780? Maybe I did not use the correct keys..
