Windows 8 isn't compatible with the M14x R1 right?

When I plug in any device in my usb ports they aren't recognized. My keyboard semi-functions as in it can type but it doesn't have full functional use.

So I've recently did a fresh install of windows on my ssd and I installed all the drivers on the website but whenever I install the USB drivers from the website it won't work. Any suggestions or tips that can help solve my problem? This is a M14x R1 btw
