I ordered the same caddy off of Amazon and use it without the bracket without problem. (Amazon.com: Universal 9.5mm SATA Hard Drive Caddy for hP lenovo: Computers & Accessories) I'm planning on doing a mold of the drive cover and shaping a new HDD cover without all the bells and whistles of an ODD or GPU cover that, at the same time, will have the inner mounting point that the HDD caddy cover has. When I do get around to that I'll probably put up a sale thread elsewhere for others who want a drive cover at-cost.

Thanks, this guide really will help when I go to replace my wireless card. I had already stumbled upon the same video guide, but that meant I didn't know about the extra screws either! It's the simple things like these that get me. I probably would have figured it out post-breakage. And that would not have been good news...
