After again today.... it seem that device manager gets an error one of the cards again. In GPU-Z it says the other card is "Microsoft Basic Display Adaptor".

I just updated to the new NVidia drivers R331. It seem to have fixed the SLI display card error in device manager but however in the NVidia control panel, it still doesn't show SLI options. Don't know if this is good or bad.....

Just enable secure boot in bios and boot "UEFI" not "Legacy" and it will remove the watermark.

DON'T update to windows 8.1 yet..... I thought it was a service pack 1 update so I installed (STUPID), now SLI doesn't work, text is blurry in some places (Device Manager, Event Viewer, Disk Management). I'm not going to wait for a patch to fix this issue since no one knows when they will release one. I'm downgrading back to Windows 8 and will only updating when there are no big issues....

Hi, I just posted a similar question into "Lenovo Y400 / Y500 - unlocked BIOS / wlan whitelist mod" thread, then I saw this thread. I'm guessing updating bios to 2.04 doesn't solve the problem. What should I do now if I've already updated to windows 8.1? reinstall windows 8?

Hi All, can anyone help me with this issue I got...... I got the Y500 with SLI and I just updated to Windows 8.1 and now 1 of my NVidia 650m in device manager says "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)", I tried to look up on the web and read that I must update my bios to resolve this problem. Lenovo doesn't have any bios update on their support page.... I'm currently running Bios Version 2.00 will updating to 2.04 fix the problem? Thanks
