  1. Anyone tried bf3 or bf4 on a egpu setup with core i5 CPUs ? I have a 3360m and I am worried about this CPU not able to cope with such CPU demanding games. Thanks. Phil
  2. Hello, I have issues with my t430 (16GB RAM hd4000 + NVS5400m) and a gtx560ti. I had previously succesfully done a egpu setup on my t420.. I have more than 3GB of ram installed therefore I encounter error 12. Lastest BIOS running on my t430. Basically the problem is that I am stuck at the point where I can't turn off my dgpu from setup DIY eGPU Setup 1.x. before running the compaction.. In the menus of egpu setup I can only see dgpu-demoted but I don't have the option to turn off the igpu or dgpu... I don't have all the options as the guide is describing. All igpu dgpu and egpu are listed on the right hand side.. If you could help me out on that one.. I have been struggling for a while now.
  3. Hello there, I was following the old egpu thread back when I had my t420 + egpu (gtx 560ti). I want to thank you guys for maintaining this forum! I am trying to set up my t430 (HD4000 + NVS5400M, 16Gb, win 7 64 bits) with my PE4H ver 2.4 + the good old GTX 560ti 1Gb. I have followed the troubleshooting FAQ then I decided to go with the DIY egpu setup software (installed on usb key). Right now I have not been able to make it work : With egpu plugged off With egpu hotplugged Then I have this error code 12 So I decided to go with the DIY egpu setup. BUT from the menu of egpu setup I cannot see the PCI menu... and my dgpu is listed as demoted. Bios options for display are default (optimus selected) Can you guys help me out with this one ? Thanks
