  1. Unfortunately I don't understand French. Isn't there any English version for instructions on how to apply this update? Is this safe and official? Update: Never mind, I was able to figure it out.
  2. Thank you so very much for this very helpful link. I was able to successfully convert my SSD to UEFI format seamlessly. I only had 100MB for the System Partition so I used the free MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition to increase the size temporarily to 200MB. Everything is intact! Thanks for the help. This forum rocks!
  3. Hi there, I'm a bit confused and having a problem with my HD setup. I have a Crucial 512GB SSD that I formatted the regular way (NTFS). Now I've already installed lots of software which I have carefully and painstakingly configured and I have data on it too. I've also meticulously set up my Win 8 OS the way I want it to appear and don't want to have to redo everything again. My problem now is how do I "upgrade" or convert my SSD so that it will be on GPT/UEFI without having to reformat the SSD again? I'd like to preserve the contents of my SSD exactly the way it is but under GPT/UEFI mode? I read here that the SSD should have be formatted as GPT prior to the installation of the OS? Isn't there a way like can I backup my SSD using the Free Paragon Backup and Recovery 2012 and then reformatting as GPT/UEFI then restoring the contents? Will that work and preserve my OS setup and software configuration exactly as before with the SSD under UEFI? Thanks. From a newbie
  4. Thanks all for the advise. I upgraded with 1T and all appears well. I really like the feature where the cooling fan kicks in when the temps begin to rise at 49C keeping my laptop cool between 47-48C. Really great!
  5. I have a Sager NP9150 with Corsair Vengeance 32Gb @ 1600Mhz. Win 8 Pro 64Bit. My system currently is: ME FW Version: 8.1.40.1416 Bios Revision: 1.02.17LS1 Sager KBC-EC firmware Revision: 1.02.11SA Sager Which Prema Mod should I use? The 1T or 2T version? I'm thinking 2T because I have 32GB RAM but I'm asking just to make sure since I'm usng Corsair Vengeance @1600Mhz. Also my Windows key is on the left and my Fn key is on the right side. Do I need to manually switch the keys or is the placement fine? Thanks for helping a newbie.
  6. I followed your advice and just physically swapped the Fn and Windows keys. So now the keyboard layout is fixed but the BT light is still a problem. This is the "bug" that I am referring to. The keyboard keys can always be manually/physically moved around but the "always on" BT light is an entirely different story altogether.
  7. Hi there, I'm a newbie here at the same time a noob! Anywway, I have a Sager NP9150 with a GTX675M and a i7-3610QM. I'm on Win8 64 Professional. I've successfully updated to the following: EC : 1.02.11SA Bios: 1.02.17LS1 ME ; 8.1.30.1350 So far everything works ok. The only annoyance I have is that the Fn/Win keys are swapped and the BT light is always on. After reading the threads, I discovered that this is caused by the updated EC. Does this bug also occur with the Clevo version updates? What about with Prema's Mods is this issue fixed? Is there any update or fix for this bug/annoyance? I'd like to keep the Sager versions so as not to void any warranties left-over with Sager. Update: I just physically swapped the Fn and Windows keys but the BT light always on is still a problem.
  8. Which version will work for a Sager NP9150 Nvidia GTX 675M (2GB)? I'm a newbie noob here. Thanks!
