  1. Jesus Christ, get flash to A11, it runs perfectly fine. Completely the same as A12 except for the battery issue but who the f#ck games on battery anyway
  2. +100 core gives you 1050mhz correct? As A11 unlocked makes your stock clock 950mhz. I would try overclocking to +200 core but leave the memory stock, it may possibly be a memory issue..
  3. What problem are you having exactly? Will none of your USB ports work?
  4. As svl7 said drivers can be an issue. I've been able to achieve 1180core/3000mem but when I go any higher the application crashes/freezes, I've never come across a driver crash. What driver are you running? The latest Nvidia driver for 650M is 320.49 however Dell recommends 307.17 which is what I use. If you're not running 307.17 this would be the first thing I would try if I were you.
  5. Do you know what the difference between A11 & A12 is? It sounds as though you think running A11 is going to ruin your current "working" system. A11 & A12 are exactly the same except for the "battery issue".
  6. Just downgrade to A11 unlocked and then when the A12 comes out you can upgrade to it
  7. You can downgrade to A11 from the Dell website and then flash using the A11 unlocked BIOS. Difference between A11 & A12 is the gaming on battery problem, if you don't heavily game whilst on battery then you won't have a problem
  8. No A12 unlocked BIOS at the moment. Downgrade to A11 from Dell then flash with the unlocked A11 BIOS: forum.techinferno.com/attachments/alienware-m14x/6144d1361824764-%5Bfpt%5D%5Bm14x-r2%5D-bios-a11-unlocked-650m-950-1400-test-v2.zip
  9. Thanks a lot for the results sh0gunshin. I haven't tried an unlocked BIOS so I have only tried to run +135/+1000 which is 100% stable. Do you think if I increase my core to +300 I will still be able to run +1000 memory?
  10. Have a look on eBay. I picked up a refurb R2 unit for a good price with heaps of Dell warranty remaining
  11. Are you getting those high temps with the back of the laptop propped up?
  12. Yep A12 BIOS does fix the battery problem, it was stated in the release notes.
