AMD cards are cheap but I prefer nvidia because they update more often theirs drivers (nonetheless amd is better than before on this point) and the tool nvidiainspector is useful to change with accuracy some parameters per game.

Try to enable triple buffering in nvidia/amd configuration panel

You might consider the shure srh 940 (~200$) or srh840 (~160$). I have the first one with a e07k dac/amplifier (not needed if you already have a good one). It compares easily with expensive headphones like hd800 in sound quality and it is very neutral.

On my desktop pc, I've a glossy display : It has reflects everywhere so it's kinda annoying. Right now, I've a laptop with a fine matt display (17" 1920x1080) from a GE70 0nd and I can use it wherever I want without bothering of windows.

My mouse is a cooler master spawn (I love light mouses) , I added a tap to reduce the lod. Dpi is set to 1800 because I'm on a 1080p screen.
