Why does DOS tell me it cannot perform the NVFLASH functions? I go to list the adapters 'NVFLASH --list' or 'NVFLASH -a' and it says cannot perform this in DOS...is there a reason why? I have Windows 8. I used rufus to make my FreeDOS USB bootable drive. Thanks!

Does anyone know how to boot dos from a usb drive on Windows 8? Im trying to work it out..I used rufus and tried booting through the usb device but it keeps skipping it and going to Windows. I have a Clevo P170EM, I have the latest bios and vbios for gtx680m but I cant get into dos on bootup

Can someone link me to the page about reflashing the bios + vbios for the GTX680M? I have the files, unsure how to perform the upgrade. Also I am unsure how to check system bios...Any help? Yes I am a noob. Soz. Im running windows 8 if that helps... Cheers

I just got a a P170EM same specs (I7 3840 and GTX680M) as above pretty much! Used crucial RAM though...same diff. Trying to get help updating the bios then Vbios let alone how to access the bios and what is the best thing for my Clevo right now. Just updated to the most recent beta Geforce drivers...made a start?! Lol Anyone can help me, much appreciated. Cheers

Im keen to update Vbios for my 4gb gtx680m (clevo P170em), I have to update bios and ec first (trying to download the link but cant because Im new ( needa do the 5 post thing ), anywhere else to get this?), I don't know how to get into the bios to check if I require and update etc,or the process to do it. Can anyone help a noob out? Pleassse. Thanks!
