Hi, they gift me an old HP 6720s and I want to have a try overclocking it, I saw on schematics that it should have the ICS9LPRS355 PLL, I tried SetFSB with the ICS9LPRS365BGLF and it displays the right FSB and PCI/E Frequencies with ICS9LPRS355BGLF or with SetPLL on ICS9LPRS355BKLF are not reporting the right frequencies.. but it seems it has locked TME since it can't set the FSB, anybody has already tried to overclock this laptop? what should I do? i can't find an already succesfull TME unlock on this PLL. Thank you very much PS: I just want to rise pci ex frequency a bit, since i'm trying an Egpu without nvidia optimus . igpu is x3100

hello again, thanks for your support on egpu experiences! . i've managed to install an eGPU by PE4L 2.1b on an acer aspire 5735z almost successfully ! i just need to do some changes to hopefully make a full working 1.1 opt config! then I'll post my results! see you soon

just a question , I tried to search for this info everywere but I haven't got any accurate one. I ordered a PE4L 2.1b wich is Gen.2 PCI-E 2.0 , one of the laptop wich i would test on has only 1.0 , I'd kinda found out that it could be compatible as well, not as 1.0 on 2.0 mode laptop wich cause instabilty.. is that right or it won't work? thanks PS: no matter of speed, even if working at 250 MB/S , just need to know if it's gonna work ..
