  1. At the beginning of the video , the gtx 780 was at 1110 mhz , and , after the first scene , i inscrease the gpu clock at 1254 mhz , witch is approx 10/12% better. The Solo is fully playable at theses FPS , but for more experiences , i disable HBSO with is really , really gpu consuming... fps without HBSO are approx 80/90 fps..

  3. I got BF4 anyway and its a mix bag. The servers who maintain a strict MS response of less than 100 are outstanding. The public servers which allow 200/300 ms ping times are beyond fucking horrid as they always win in a 1 on 1 situation. I have been reporting the shit out of people who are taking advantage of it. If they are going to ruin my experience I am going to ruin theirs. Battlefield feels big and its amazing on many levels. The netcode just ruins it. Just my .02.

  4. Let me guess... the seller was eurocom? They're full of shit, the card comes with a Clevo Vbios, the reason why you see Dell in GPU-Z is because that's the vendor ID of your mobo. The stock vbios won't allow for full clocks on the M15x, if you get glitches in the GPU-Z render test then the card is most likely defective, that test is a simple render test and puts no stress on the GPU at all. The 150W PSU is not the issue here. I assume you're using the latest system bios?

  6. Hi @svl7, Lenovo recently provided some official vBIOS updates for the Ultrabay GPU's on the Y-series gaming notebooks to allow SLI to work in Windows 8.1. Could you please mod these to unlock the overclocking limit and enable software voltage control like you did for the previous vBIOSes? I've attached the Ultrabay 650M and 750M vBIOSes. Thanks 650M 750M

  7. Primary factor for the lower score would be because you are running Win8.1 versus Kloper's Win7. Win7 gives better 3dmark06 results as noted by Futuremark themselves: Lower windows 8 performance - Page 2 That and of course Kloper's CPU is quite a bit faster (3111 vs 3591). I wouldn't be overly concerned though if you are then consider loading Win7 instead of Win8.1. You are definitely getting x1.2Opt performance and the resolution run of 1280x1024 means that both tests were on external monitors.

  8. Hi, I finally solved my issue after 4 days of cheking (bios, GPU change, forum reading all over the world lol, etc...). There is no PSU issue in fact it was the position of the card in the GPU slot. Maybe the first thing to be checked. Indeed, I installed the 7970m with 5870M X bracket and try to isloate the card componements which can be in interference with the X bracket. For this reason, the X bracket/card thickness was bigger and the GPU was plug in the slot with a small angle maybe 5° (difficult to see by visual checking). Due to this false positionning in the GPU slot, the lappost was posting from time time. After moving it last time, the gpu probably moved a bit and no post was possible anymore. Finally, I cut the X barcket in 4 part and installed it properly and now it is working without any problem. Now I will check that there is no overheating issue in game but the srew are well tight on the card and there is no reason. I hope it can help!!

  11. The first thing that you'll need to do is mod your bios. I believe that this is still required. It's easy to replace the wireless card. Just remove the bottom cover as you would to access the hard drive and ram. You can find a pretty helpful dis-assembly video here on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmVYvJhlhL8 You only need to take off the bottom cover to expose the replaceable components so don't go taking the whole thing apart. The wireless card is in there. You can look at your new card to figure out what it looks like (more or less). Touch the chassis to discharge any static electricity before you touch electronic parts. You need to remove the screw that holds the mini pci express card in. Pay attention to which cable goes where on the existing wireless card. One is black and one is white. Then remove the old card. Put the new wireless card (the Intel 7260) into the slot, screw it in and connect the old wires to the new card the same way they were connected to the old card. Button things back up and you should be good to go!
