coopertrooper Posted April 5, 2016 Share Posted April 5, 2016 Hi guys looking for some help. I have a 17 x r4 with the 3d screen and gtx680m. My question is: can i still use 3d if i upgrade to any of the higher gtx 7-980m cards. I want to do the upgrade but i am a bit less excited if i loose 3d capabilitys. mariussx Posted April 5, 2016 Share Posted April 5, 2016 No, the screen will still work at 120Hz, however 3D functionality will be gone. Only 680M and the rest of the 6xxM cards will be able to use 3D in R4 because of the licensing. There is no way around it as far as I know.
