katCrusader
Apologies if there is a thread elsewhere about this; I haven't been able to find anything :-/ Does anyone know how I can obtain Throttlestop? And are there any tutorials for it? I'm currently on a Surface Pro 3 i5 4gb. Thanks <
unclewebb
ThrottleStop 8.00 b7 https://www.sendspace.com/file/i84h7g I think the latest version of ThrottleStop should work well on a Surface Pro 3. Post some screenshots if you have any questions.

rilazo
Thanks unclewebb! Is there a version available that won't expire? I use it on a baytrail TV-stick where in the bios the max CPU frequency isn't selectable. So a working Throttlestop version is absolutly o.k. for me. I don't need always the newest version. Btw: In Win 10 I'm able to bring Throttlestop into the autostart section but with no effect. It neither starts up nor creates an error message. bobhagel84
Out of interest why would you use Throttlestop on a Surface Pro 3?
hectic
Very usefull tool. I was using it with previous laptop with weak power adaptor, turning off CPU boost saved me some place for max GPU TDP, it's really handy in use.

PaulTInf2017
And this is also the best to disable throttling. I had this in my Dell M6600 Workstation and and it worked perfectly.
HumanGene33
I am using Throttlestop myself. It helps a lot if you are using your computer with many programs running at the same time. Also i like how it smooth the web browser experience. Used to have fps drops in games like Ryse- Son of Rome and Rise of the Tomb Raider. After started using it , fps drops gone. Its also easy to find download links to that program , if any of u cant find download link i can help too.

xchipx
Hi throttlestop is fantastic, however on older machines such as core2 and 1st gen i5, has anyone noticed it sometimes gets the fsb/baseclock frequency incorrect?
Rebel
can i underclock gt750m with this tool?
philfy
You'll have to use software like MSI Afterburner to underclock a gpu but i'm not sure if the GT750M is supported.
