Guest
Since we are going see this "new" offering in a couple of days in Vegas... I thought we could have a little discussion about NVIDIAs only new offering for the near future! Specs: Code name: N16E-GR Device ID: 1427 (regular) 1667 (g-sync) Core: GM206 vRAM: 2GB vRAM Clock: 2500Mz Base Clock: 935Mhz Variable Turbo: 1150-1392Mhz (Depending on ASIC Quality and systems cooling capacity) TDP: 50W We are promised an about 10% improvement over the existing GTX965M, while using 10% less power. It'll be available in Clevo's in MXM as well as BGA flavor.
Founder Brian Posted January 5, 2016 Founder Share Posted January 5, 2016 So did they do anything special to use 10% less power or is it a case of binning?
octiceps
That core clock is impressive, but VRAM is disappointing. So I'm assuming it will be 1024 shader again like old GM204 965M? Edited January 5, 2016 by octiceps
