tigelton
Greetings and sorry if this question has been asked before, but what is the current eGPU state of the R9 Fury X and R9 Nano cards? From reading other posts, it seems like these cards aren't working properly on OS X due to a lack of drivers. However, I would like to know if anyone has any experience with these cards under BOOTCAMP mode.
FricoRico
I believe that AMD is actually really easy to get running under Mac OSX, Apple has good driver support for them inside Mac OSX. See my question about it in this post. However, R9 cards seem to not play nice with the populair AkiTo enclosure. Populair because of their low price tag. It seems not many people have actually been trying to set up a R9 in either Bootcamp or Mac OSX. Sadly I currently do not have the financial means to go on such a risk endeavour. tigelton
Not only does the Nano fit perfectly inside the AKITIO enclosure, it is also quite cost effective now.AMD drops price of the Radeon R9 Nano to $499 I wish we knew more about this card being supported in the near future.
