FaustVII Posted November 27, 2015 Share Posted November 27, 2015 With the Prema vBIOS mods for 980M, I'm excited that my P170EM can finally get a graphics update. However, I was told that because the other components of the laptop are old, they can bottleneck the 980M's performance, which would make it a waste of money since I wouldn't be getting the most out of it. Does anyone know if this is true? Did anyone benchmark their P170EM's with 980M. I'm curious how it will compare with a newer model laptops.
