I downloaded this M17x R3 - BIOS A12 [unlocked] [sATA tweak] from the website and when I run it i get these errors:IHISI: Get support mode fail in SMI!Click OK...BIOS did not support InsydeFlash!Click OK...IHISI: flash complete error in SMI!what can I do? please help me.My laptop is Alienware 17 R3. You're trying to flash a BIOS that's not made for your laptop. The Alienware 17 R3 is a 2015 laptop and the M17x R3 is laptop from 2011! I'm going to take a stab in the dark and guess that you're not well versed in BIOS flashing. With that said, You might want to be more careful as attempting to flash the wrong BIOS file can result in a unusable machine. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
