hello guys.

I bought clevo gtx 970m. then flashed vbios from premamod.com. so the firmware version is now. 84.04.22.00.F1

and fully installed windows 8.1 with uefi.

bios is A10 unlocked. I set the bios as PEG.(if needs in detail setting except this, please explain me)

my problem is an error message "display driver stopped responding and has recovered"

doesnt work when I play any graphic works including game. and get stuck.

I tried installing 358.70, 350.12 with modded inf from here and tried from laptop2go too..

still the message appears. any idea? thanks.

i had a similar problem with installing a 870m in my m18xr2,
Nvidia was not able to detect my card, though i could see if in device manager with the exclamation mark.

make sure you are modifying the inf file correctly, in my casei wasn't,

and someone linked me to

http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers

i ended up downloading their pre-modified drivers, and it worked like a charm,

make sure driver signature enforcement is disabled.

as for only seeing 3gigs of vram instead of 6, make sure you flashed the correct bios corresponding to your 970m, as premamod has 2 different firmware's for 970m, there is a 3gig and a 6gig one.
