hans123 Posted December 25, 2015 Share Posted December 25, 2015 Yes thats right. It is exactly the same model as the Alienware 18 from 2013/2014 only with new gpu's. Alienware released the new A12 BIOS for them to make an upgrade available for the older Alienware 18's (2013/14). If you flash the A12 BIOS the old Alienware 18's are able to handle the maxwell cards (970M/980M). Thats the only difference i noticed.
