jclausius
So, the difference b/w Phoenix and Wingman is just a little more design for cooling? Anything else?

Harath
I like it design, the difference in cooling instead of normal P771DM is that this radiators are longer as i can see?
Lemniscate
Does anyone know how much of a performance difference there's going to be between the 180w and 200w versions found in the p775dm and the p870dm respectively? I was just looking at the bench results from the sky x9 posted here ( Thread: http://forum.techinferno.com/desktop-hardware/11201-introducing-desktop-laptop-eurocom-sky-x9.html Benchmarks: Generic VGA video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-6700K,EUROCOM SKY X9 ) and was wondering if it would be possible to achieve similar performance with the "Wingman" and its 180 version gtx 980 with the Prema bios modifications and what not? The main difference will be maximum stable voltage as well as the systems cooling capacity.
Harath
Prema, do you think this cooling system will deal with this spec (desktop skylake, and mobile 980 180W)?

jaybee83
Prema, do you think this cooling system will deal with this spec (desktop skylake, and mobile 980 180W)? considering how insanely cool the 980M already runs, the 180W 980 with larger heatsink fins area and thicker pipes should be totally alright, even coupled with a 6700K worst case scenario, itll break 80C when oced to the max in comparison to that, the 980M would have trouble breaking 70C under stress at max. oc with high ambient temps Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Harath
the 980M would have trouble breaking 70C under stress at max. oc with high ambient temps I hope so, but P775DM wont be seeling with 980M, right?
ssj92
I hope so, but P775DM wont be seeling with 980M, right?According to XMG, the P775DM will be available with 965M/970M/980M/180W GTX 980.

Ou, that awesome , that monstrual cooling with ii 6600K and 980M for example will be extra cold .
Guest
According to XMG, the P775DM will be available with 965M/970M/980M/180W GTX 980.Clevo lists them as two different models:P775DM1 for GTX 980 and P775DM for GTX9xxM...Not sure if they only differ in heatsink, so I would double check if you plan on upgrading a GTXxxM model to GTX 980 GPU later on. !Inferno
Eurocom's new Sky DLX7: Eurocom Future ModelsLooks like a clevo, but haven't seen one like that before, and can't tell which clevo model it could be. For a 17.3'', it looks nicer than the P770-DM I thinkWhat do you guys think of this one?

Asting
Hi guy. I will be really happy if someone can told me: does this laptop contain any addition lights on the chassis or not? Like 750/770DM contain light strip at the front under keyboard and 870DM contain crossing light on the top of the cap. Thanks

jclausius
I'm trying to get out in front of the release and get stuff lined up ahead of time. For a TIM, I was leaning toward Coolaboratory LU, but I have some other hardware I'd like to use it on as well, and I believe there are some aluminum pieces involved. Is Gelid GC-Extreme my next best option? Note, I'm not positive, but I thought I read it is safe for almost all heatsink materials.Any advice?TIA

2bad0
Hi guy. I will be really happy if someone can told me: does this laptop contain any addition lights on the chassis or not? Like 750/770DM contain light strip at the front under keyboard and 870DM contain crossing light on the top of the cap. ThanksBased on the images uploaded thus far for this machine,it does look like there are no LCD Back-cover lights, the images i've seen thus far don't seem to show off the front bottom so maybe someone else can add their input. This machine seems to be another interesting addition,I already got the 750DM because i needed slight portability, but later on i may get a bare-bones of one of those and swap out parts. It would be nice to have an option for the Desktop 980 in the 15 inchers, but based on the keyboard heat mine generates i don't think or don't know if it would be the greatest of ideas. 2bad0
There it is:Eurocom Configure ModelPretty expensive though, compared to their p770DM!The Default eurocom configuration of the 775 is with the desktop GPU and also with the addition of the 4k screen,if you were to configure the 870DM to match it's (the 775) specs the 870 easily more expensive, although yes compared to other vendors i do agree it appears to be a few hundred bucks more expensive, that is with the 870DM atleast. For now though i'd assume the price to be a place holder and as information gets passed on prices will be adjusted accordingly. That was the case with the new sky x4 and sky mx5
