lmk7720
Hello, Noob here I just bought a second hand MSI GT70 laptop with gtx675mx and just loving it so far except my GPU being overheated. according to Nvidia Inspector , MSI After Burner my GPU temperature stays at around 70 celcius when idle and 85 celcuis as I start playing games. and it hits 86-87 at max load. 1.Cleaned my fan , dusted out , applied new Termal paste. 2.Installed the newest nvidia driver. 3.default clock - no OC 3.room temperature is about 20 celcius. and I have no clue what's going on.. is this reflecting my GPU going bad ? thank you in advance guys

Bloetschkopf
This Temperature are not OK for this Card, check first please the Thermalpaste on the GPU.Is the GTX 675MX the Original Card?Maybe the Preowner Change the Card and modified the HeatsinkIf the Heatsink is also original it must be a Problem of your Thermalpaste. This Card makes in GT70 normaly ca.45°-50° in Idle and Maximum 80° in Games with OC.
ceg-hardcorecustom
Every card from Clevo need mod Heatsink for MSI. Maybe vbios reflashed help.Gesendet von meinem SM-G920F mit Tapatalk
Bloetschkopf
Nonsens. When the GTX 675MX was the original Card in his GT70 then he have the right Heatsink for Kepler. He can use every Kepler Card with it,also Clevo or Dell and all other. He Need only a modified or other Heatsink when he Change the Card Generation like Fermi to Kepler or Kepler to Maxwell
