Lenovo Y580 BIOS Recovery

Recommended Posts

I own a Lenovo Y580 (Windows 7 and i7-3630QM Processor).

Today I tried to upgrade BIOS with Lenovo utility but after a while screen went black and fan was working at 100%. Laptop remained in this condition for over an hour and I had to shut it down.

After that laptop is not booting anymore.

When I try to boot I can hear it working, power light is on, keyboard light is also on but nothing happens.

Please help.

Most likely you flashed the BIOS with the wrong version, for example there was the second one, but the eighth one (or vice versa). Create a bootable USB flash drive, and with your version, or if you do not remember what sewed, try both. If this does not help, then it remains only to sew the programmer, with a complete cleaning of the microcircuit.
