@kaladeth I went from a i3-3120m to a i7-3632QM hehe. As long as the socket is the same you can do the upgrade in theory.

Laptop: Fujitsu AH532

CPU:i7-3632QM (was i3-3120m)

GPU:Gtx 660 MSI Frozer III

RAM: 4 Gb

PE4L-EC100A, Gen2 via Setup 1.X

Here are the "default" benchmarks with external screen, i3-3120m and GTX660

and here the benchmarks with internal screen (I no longer have the LCD screen), i7-3632QM and GTX660

In games like Crysis 3, FPS didn't increase, maybe 1-2 FPS, but where I had lags and stuttering with the i3-3120m, the i7-3632QM seem to handle all overload and the game is maybe at low frames (Welcome to the Jungle) but at least it doesn't lag which is for me quite an improvement.
