[GPU UPGRADES] GTX7/8/9 on P-EM/HM Series

Recommended Posts

- To make the GTX7/8/9 work properly on P-EM series we need to use a BIOS and vBIOS Mod combination.

- Without Mod GTX7/8, will not work at all.

- Without Mod GTX9 will only run properly with 347-series driver but only on stock clocks.

- By using an OC capable driver it loses 20% speed even on stock clocks, essentially crippling a GTX980M to a GTX970M.

- Without Mod no CPU and iGPU Turbo on Ivy Bridge refresh CPUs

- The Mod will not require any driver .inf mods and achieve full speed without throttle even under heavy overclocks as well as recognize the cards power-states properly (incl battery mode).

Also IV-refresh CPUs have Full Turbo (incl. iGPU).

Once the Mods are ready I'll re-open this topic!

Until then please stop asking the same question over and over again! :)

These re-seller have teamed up with us to provide you with special (v)BIOS for your EM systems when purchasing GTX9xxM cards from them:

- Mythlogic (USA)

- Eurocom (Canada)

- Clevocenter (Portugal)

- Illegear (Malaysia)

- Metabox (Australia)

- LaptopParts4Less (Netherlands)

- Schenker/XMG (Germany/UK)

With these (v)BIOS you will get proper performance and functionality, not require any driver mods and work with all the latest driver.

They as well allow you to use the free W10 upgrade path as the systems will be detected as natively supported.
