Just finished a red OSD Icon Theme for M17xR3 for the newest OSD Application.

Simply download, unrar and replace the .exe with the one at your OSD Application installation folder (normally C:/Program files (x86)/Alienware On-Screen Display/).

Run it. Should work then.

For Download see my next post !!!

Hey guys,

Do any of you have a problem where sometimes the OSD icons wouldn't show up on the screen (it happened to me both with old and new Nospheratu's icons) if you try to e.g. change the brigthness level? I think it may be a "feature" of AW OSD. Any thoughts/fixes?

Thanks.

Good job man :) I've added a link to your post to the first post in this thread so peeps can find your red mod more easily.

I've also noticed this but have no idea how to fix it. Functionality still works though so I haven't given it much thought.

pure excellence my friend.

@trikz I'm honored your first post was here :) Thanks for the compliment and welcome!

Yeah I have that too, not a huge deal but none the less, if you're free :)

And here it comes :) Deleted the "corrupted" one.

RED ICON EDITION by Nospheratu and edited by robby_hd

AlienwareOn-ScreenDisplay.zip

Simply replace the old .exe with this one. For more info see my post above.

But Alienware's On-Screen-Display has no folder with current pics, they are all saved in the .exe ;)
Yeah all the Sandy Bride Alienwares have newer OSD app which limits icon changing.

Its not difficult if you use the right tools. Follow my mini guide here and you'll be able to mod images in almost any exe including the OSD.

Good job with the mod @robby_hd +1 :)
