Cloudfire
Currently neither GTX 980M nor 970M works in Alienware 18. The moderator SVL may hopefully be able to fix it for us. You can see people who have tried from this threadhttp://forum.techinferno.com/alienware/8113-going-test-clevo-980m-alienware-m17x-r4-m18x-r2-aw17.html

duxlegatus
If you decide to install the 980ms into the AW18 let us know about your experience doing it.
kiwikewl
definitely I will there still seem to be some issues installing them but the main one seems to be having to run windows 8/8.1 and i was already running that so I will order them in the next couple months
Guest
Throttle, throttle, throttle... that's the main issue. Windows 8 sucks, but throttling is terrible. Sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't. If you plan to overclock, it's going to be especially frustrating because that makes it worse.
