Lenovo Y510P Max RAm Question

I knew that the Max of Ram for Lenovo Y510P is 16 GB DDR3L , but when i read about i7 4700MQ its supports till 32 GB Ram . Can I upgrade my Lenovo to 32 GB Ram ? Please Advice :Banane52:

Even though the CPU supports it, the laptop itself will not take more than 16GB because it has only two slots.

That is very in-correct my friend, I've got 4 slots, I've checked using CPU-Z & Asked the retailer, So for me it supports up to 32Gb.

CPU-Z always show 4 slot memory even though there are just 2 slot. The only way to check is open up the bottom cover to see.

Your laptop probably have only 2 slot too.

Two slots only 16gb. Wondering though if those slots can support 16GB memory mods, if they make them.
