Do you know when we can expect some more informations or reviews of the P670 clevo?

Most P67xSx info incl. pictures is in the OP. If I would have to guess than maybe within a month.

only thing i want to know is the release date and if the 15 inch model will have support for 4790K cpu

Christmas-ish and that CPU is supported.

My BIOS Mod will allow for system RAM to be OCed up to 2667Mhz. Once it hits the streets get something like the Kingston 2400Mhz, bump the MHz, lower the Timings, use part of it as shared vRAM and you don't need a GPU with xGB of vRAM. icon7.gif

Well it is a plan lol. Im going to throw those 2400mhz chips in my Alienware 18. i confirmed with Memtest and J95's help that the Alienware 18 will load the ram at 2400mhz :) cant wait to try those. Clevo is awesome using desktop cpus and desktop like sodimm :D

from what I read stock for them will be 1.35v 4gb and 8gb dimms @2400mhz CL12-13-13-35 indeed very respectable timing on 1.35v I think

their youtube video of 2666 showed a different set that had XMP 2666 and 2400 with each at 1.65v

I know new clevo's p750 and 770zm will come out with deskto CPU, but can they also run desktop memory?

these are the specs on the 2133mhz line

they just released a revision that changed these chips to slower latencies. I wonder why but may have to do with their findings while preparing the 2400mhz chips.

HX321LS11IB2K2_16.pdf

we have the original HX321LS11IBK2_16

DDR3-2133 CL11-11-11 @1.35V or 1.5V

and newly released HX321LS11IB2K2_16

DDR3-2133 CL11-12-13 @1.35V or 1.5V

i wonder if i could crank up my vengeance 2133 sticks to 2667....2400 should defo be possible :)

Memory overclock is more difficult than CPU OC.

And even same brand memory sticks work differently.

You gotta check how good your memory is by yourself.

And also, memory even works differently in different MOBO and CPU.

I switched from W230ST to W230SS motherboard. Using my same old CPU and RAM.

Old mobo was running at 2400Mhz CL10, New one crashes even 2400 @ CL12...at least the GPU is a "monster"...more later. ;)

Same with mine CL11-14 no go but then again my other timings may have thrown it off but likely my sticks wont do 2400.

I was leaning towards the SE model, which would be available more immediately. But now I'm tempted to go for the 3mm fatter SG model, for the thicker 9.5mm fat 2.5" bay, given the 2TB drives are becoming available. The added performance of the GTX980M probably can't hurt either.

I'd like to see more resellers with 120 Hz screens, they are so scarce at the moment, at the little amount of resellers that offer them usually do not offer different keyboard layouts (just the US one). :(

Hello.

In the Netherlands there are a reseller who sells the P375sm-a 120Hz screen quality of LG.

XNOTEBOOKS® CYCLONE HW17 - 2 x ATI RADEON R9 M290X (Crossfire ) / 2 x NVIDIA GTX860 (SLi) / 2 x NVIDIA GTX880 (SLi) / 2 x GTX970 (SLi) / 2 x GTX980 (SLi) / 1 x QUADRO K5100 SUPER Gaming / Multimedia laptop notebook, verlicht toetsenbord P370SM-A P375
