I just signed the petition. I'm extremely unhappy about the garbage bios and the "whitelist". What a joke. I will never, ever, purchase another lenovo product until they change their policy. I would never have bought this laptop if I had known about the whitelist garbage. Shame on you Lenovo.

they don't want you to OC or modify the system's hardware/ void warranty

Lenovo might really want to consider making changes to this option - you have full ownership of the BIOS and the OS once it gets delivered to you

I guess that makes sense, makes it easier for tech support to go down their laundry list of problems, good thing for workarounds
