chris1870
Hi,I am desperately trying to enable WoWLAN - Wake on wlan on my Lenovo Ideapad Y510p. My wireless adapter is the Intel Centrino Wireless N-2230 Driver Version 15.10.3.2 My Bios version is 3.7. Looking at the Bios I can see that there is no option for Wake on Lan (WOL) and neither Wake on Wlan. Once I go into the device manager and click on properties on the Centrino Wireless adapter in Power Management I can see "Allow this device to wake this computer" is greyed out. In the registry at local machine\system\currentcontrolset\services\nativewifip\parameters in REG_DWORD the value is set to 1. Did anybody manage to enable wake on wlan on his y510p? Any help is appreciated.
wdnmd
HI chris1870, Did you tried a modded bios to enable wake on lan? I have tried and I enabled wake on lan but wol is still not working. Do you have any idea to make wol work on lenovo y410p? Thanks. By the way I can see Intel Smart Connect Technology configuration in this modded bios. It is in Advanced tab, ISCT Configuration. But I don't know if it works.
