After about another hour to download whatever additionally file I needed to get past the social club BS lockout. Got so fed up I created new account. Finally got into play MY game for about an hour. So far game is awesome. Everything maxed and getting 60 FPS.

I had a blast yesterday with GTA5 on my M17XR3 + 680M.. with my old arse 285 nvidia driver. Wondering if someone else noticed a graphical problem with char creator for GTA5 online ? My char is like a zebra with stripes which is not normal.. and the singleplayer side is perfect everywhere.. no glitch for 4 hours of gaming.

I don't know if this was already discussed, but I had this problem. If anyone is crashing during the first mission with Franklin and Lamarr (repo cars) during single player mode turn off internet connection. Once I tried playing in offline mode no more crashing.

Wow, see all the post above....... what a beast rig you have guys..... :D

I'm already have the PS4 version since I worry that it will stress my Laptop so bad. But still, play it on mobile everywhere I go during work seems wonderful. Just curious, is this game still requires a decent CPU yet ? like majority off almost all open world games......

Cant wait to see how this performs on my 980M I am getting tomorrow, its nice seeing they optimized this game so well, I plays really good on my GTX 780 on my desktop. I wonder if I can push this laptop more than my desktop since it has 4GB of VRAM vs the 3GB on my desktop.

Sigh, This game is killing my 980m and for some reason the grass constantly flickers, the game randomly stutters, and sound lags occasionally. I really hope Rockstar fixes all of the problems people are having because when the game works it is truly amazing.

Run GTA V on Geforce 590 and it's running perfect with high texture quality and all other settings on high. 1920x1200 resolution. I was quite suprised actually as I was worried that the card was already outdated :) The VRAM usage shows over what's available but so far no issues with crashing or otherwise.

I want to get GTA V but I doubt it would run well on my single 750m...is it more or less taxing than Far Cry 4? My Y510p can run FC4 on medium settings pretty well, but if GTA V is any more taxing than FC4, I'd probably be better off with the PS3 version.

it would be ok, just don't expect 60fps. a 780m can do 50-60fps.

just ran the game on a single 980m(wish i got my sli cable now so i can test how good sli works in this game) It ran beautiful but still experience some stutter so i rather just turn off msaa afterall. My 3720qm clocks around 3.7ghz but i dont see the difference compare to stock clock, so i guess cpu is not the main factor. I can get 60 fps solid at city and goes around 50 ish at country side. Might need a bit more tweaking on the setting to achieve all around 60 solid fps, but for now im satisfy with what my card is capable to do!

I'm running this game on my 2 750m's on low-sodium settings. My fps is pretty good, but my only complaint is that the initial loading times are pretty long. I'm getting a ssd soon, so maybe that will help.

mine running on 980m, got around 20-30fps ~_~ my lappie only compatible with driver 347.12.. should newer driver increase gtav FPS?

You should upgrade to the latest drivers, ideally. 353.06 Drivers | GeForce

The GTA V release driver is version 350.12 Drivers | GeForce

Why is your 980m only compatible with 347.12? That doesn't sound right. The links I provided are for computers running Windows 7, 8, 8.1 64-bit

On my y500 and gt650 SLI, i'v got on 1080p - 30fps ald 720p around 50-60fps on settings: all max settings without AA, Shadows on High and post processing on Medium and advanced graphics off

So its pretty good

Hi i've got the Lenovo y510p w/ the single 755m card and the 720p screen, and I am pretty surprised that GTA V is running at a solid 60fps at Medium/High, however I am running it with Direct X10 instead of 11 as running it with 11 it is unplayable. Is there that big of a difference? and what setting are you running GTA V at?

Also If I let Nvidia Gforce set the optimal graphics settings automatically according to my graphics card it's unplayable...
