mw86 Posted July 28, 2014 Share Posted July 28, 2014 My brothers HDX18t is similar with a one heat sink design and one fan as well all for both cpu and gpu. Poor vent design adds to the problem in most of the designs I was very disappointed in the HP model I used. You still can try repasting and keeping temps down but it may be a hardware issue. Still yet if you haven't you could try a clean install of the latest graphics drivers. Ram could be loose maybe try reseating the ram modules carefully. You can rule out temps on gpu or cpu just by monitoring them with HWiNFO. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
pekux Posted September 30, 2015 Share Posted September 30, 2015 Problem is that the GPU desolders itself from motherboard. In some cases it can be resoldered by simply heating it up.
