Slacker
If you're asking if you can manually turn on the fan up to maximum via the touch button, yes you can, it won't hurt anything.
cresterk
I always keep turbo boost on while running ridiculously high OCs for hours. Mine still works properly so I suppose that it doesn't hurt it.
NerdyJack
For sure you can keep it on. I always keep it on when gaming, it keeps my laptop at 78 degree C when heavily overclocked.
Supplix
MSI Cooler booster 2 is insanely loud when activated. Even with a good headset i can still heard it over the game sound. I would recommand using Fan Control Tools by Pherein and set the fan speed at a decent ratio Speed cooling / Noise.
Gamester3333
The cooler boost 2 is intended to maximize cooling for long gaming sessions, where the laptop is the most likely to overheat. HOWEVER, I have a GT70-2OD, and the fan is starting to wobble a little after about 5 months of heavy use. I get the feeling that I may have to replace it soon. a good alternative to cranking the fan to 100% through the cooler boost is the GT70 fan control application, although I can't remember where it's hosted at. With it, you can set the fan to 70% for example.
