I linked (mklink) the nvidia cache folder to a ramdisk (Imdisk) just to use the free space left by the ram browsers (9000MB/s)....

Imdisk Tools and utilities for Windows Task scheduler, User Account 'System' (change user group), Triggers 'At system startup' , 'Action' both tasks, same order, Conditions everything unchecked, Settings uncheck 'Stop the task if...'

300M, 512M, 1024M...
imdisk -a -s 1024M -m J: -p "/fs:NTFS /v:RAMDisk /q /y"

cmd /c md J:NVIDIA Corporation

Task manager, kill explorer.exe and delete (new task) C:UsersxxxxxAppDataLocalTempNVIDIA Corporation

cmd (Admin)
mklink /D "C:UsersxxxxxAppDataLocalTempNVIDIA Corporation" "J:NVIDIA Corporation"

J95, why wouldn't you move all Temp directory to Ramdrive then? The only once when I had trouble after doing that was when unzipping many GB file because Temp folder wasn't that big to hold that much of data but I have never done anything like that since.

Speaking about driver... same driver all before. Some games get gains, some loose. That is if I comare with 335.23. R331 drivers are really less performance. But I have good CPU.

 • 3 weeks later...

Is anyone else using Nvidia Surround and is experiencing driver crashes from time to time with 337.50 Beta and 337.61 Beta?

Especially with simultaneous use of Google Chrome and VLC/Windows media player and other applications like JDownloader. It always starts with a green or grey middle screen and ends up in a graphics driver recovery.
