arc88
A few months ago I was researching upgrading my laptop's screen from its measly 1366x768 to something a little more formidable. Plus the screen is not of very good quality and has inconsistently-spaced pixels. I researched a very nice model, an LP140WD2-TLE2, and thought I bought it from laptopscreen.com. When I received my package I learned they shipped me one considered "compatible" -- AKA not what I ordered. This leads me to two (related) questions: Where have you had success in buying the replacement panel of your choice? Where can I buy this exact model? arc88
Bump. I know it's possible to buy screens, as I've done it; I just want to buy screens of good quality.
triturbo
My place - eBay. Definitely ask prior buying if don't want another compatible one As for would it work - it probably wont since your cable most probably is 1ch LVDS, where for anything above 1366x768 you'll need 2ch LVDS. You have to physically check the cable if it has all the wires and if not, you'll have to add them or look for a compatible one that's 2ch LVDS. HAIKIM
Yeah, I've bought couple of screens from ebay and all perfect. Can vouch for it.
